Telecommunications Engineering Training

Common questions
Does the NBN course qualify me to work on the network?
No. Working on the NBN requires registration and, for cabling, an ACMA-recognised cabling registration held through a registrar. This course builds the capability and covers the standards; the registration is separate and is obtained elsewhere. We will tell you which one you need.
Is the fibre course hands-on?
Yes — splicing, termination and OTDR testing. It runs in-house at your site or at a host venue, because there is no honest way to teach fusion splicing online.
We are a regional carrier. Can this be delivered on site?
Yes, and it is common. In-house delivery is quoted after a scoping call, because the honest price depends on group size, travel and how much of the content already exists.
